I find myself wondering if perhaps our only hope now is also to embrace this absurdity, for our quest has become our punishment. Life imitates myth, and much like Sisyphus — in his eternal attempt to relocate a rock by pushing it up a hill, only to have it roll down again and again, ad infinitum — we too are now relegated to relocating rocks.
