Growth Opportunities

That is certainly worth something to someone, but it’s hard to see the growth opportunities.
— Ben Thompson, Stratechery

In his weekly article, Ben goes after himself but also seems to push the idea that Twitter as a standalone company is nearing it's end.

I'm sure this is being brought up - it certainly as been discussed previously - but why are some of today's successful folks joining Twitter?

What is Dorsey telling them? What's on his playbook that noone else sees?

Not to go too far down this path but is it possible Twitter is at the bottom? And Dorsey is making the point:

"Do you want to sell sugared water for the rest of your life? Or do you want to come with me and change the world?"

(Yes. The Sculley era didn't shine but can we time-shift a bit?)
