I remember reading this idea from AVC a long time ago. I'm not sure if it was this post specifically or any number of other posts referencing 'Microchunk'. What I do remember is the impact that one word had on me.
The great thing about the quote above is that 'content' can mean any number of pieces. Text, images, voice, etc. Breaking it down into smaller parts allows us to consume the content easier.
It's tough to break things down into smaller parts when you have lots of good stuff to say. But consumption should be the key - having great content but no consumers doesn't strike the right balance.
