Reid Hoffman at TED on your personal network:
...being an “expert” has more to do with being able to find the right information than actually knowing it.
I remember making my way through school with certain instructors giving us the option of opened- or closed-book exams. The closed-book exams were always structured to be more difficult and you really had to know both the topic as well as the book.
It was a big game of hide and seek. I liked it.
With the Internet here, the same rules apply. You not only have to know what it is, but where to find it.
