Why blogging on the iPad doesn’t work

I read Brett Kelly’s post The Broken Promise of Blogging on the iPad after searching for blogging apps for the iPad, and I couldn’t agree more.

I’ve used a handful of different apps but none of them seem to give me that satisfying feeling of a blog (well) done.

That’s one reason I was looking for blogging apps for the iPad. I figured after nearly a year on the market, someone had to have come up with an app that makes posting fun again.

It’s also the reason I moved a lot of my quick updates to a Tumblr site. Tumblr, plus the Tumblr app, makes posting short updates much easier (including photos, etc.).
